Volunteering, Foundation and Scholarships – The Event

On Saturday (October 16, 2010) The Latino Foundation of Stamford, Inc. had its annual Generation of Pioneers Award Ceremony.

The event was a success.  We had a wonderful night full of music, fun and food.

Aside from the Honorees and their families, a lot of people stopped in to join us.

With the generous donations that we received we where able to raise over $200 that will go towards next years scholarship.

The dress I was wearing that night is from Mexico and it's a traditional outfit called a Huipil.

Thanking our Volunteers

At the end of the night it turned out to be a smashing success and everyone had a great time. The Honorees enjoyed themselves and we where able to raise some funds towards keeping the foundations mission of providing a scholarship.

    I like that some of the donated gifts included booze.

      Yea actually when we got that bottle and I announced more then half the people got up to buy tickets.. it was awesome!
